While the original KCIM connector was developed by Kyocera, ScannerVision KCIM Connector V2.0 is the first version to be fully developed and maintained in-house by the ScannerVision development team. This strategic milestone allows ScannerVision to manage the connector as an integral part of the ScannerVision platform, ensuring ongoing development, long-term support, and continued alignment with evolving customer and partner requirements.

Kyocera Cloud Information Manager (KCIM) is Kyocera’s cloud-based (SaaS) document management platform, designed to securely store, organize, and retrieve business documents from anywhere.

The ScannerVision KCIM Connector V2.0 extends these capabilities by allowing users to scan documents directly from supported devices, capture or extract metadata, and upload documents into KCIM in real time—all without the need for manual uploading.

Automatic Folder Creation
Destination folders are automatically created in KCIM when they do not already exist, ensuring documents are always stored in the correct location without manual folder preparation.

Folder Browsing
Users can browse and select destination folders directly from supported multifunction devices before uploading documents.
